We travelled in a suite and spent the week dining only at Club Deliziosa. The food was classy, healthy and genuinely delicious. Fresh, well-prepared seafood featured all week, and the staff were delightful - attentive without being intrusive.

Evenings were easy and enjoyable. We danced, enjoyed the live music around the ship, and went to the shows. Almost everything in the theatre was excellent; the one exception was The Addams Family, which didn’t land for us. The rest of the entertainment was strong.

The spa was fantastic - a real highlight and a big part of why we rested so much. The itinerary was excellent. Shore excursions were fine rather than outstanding; the only small niggle was that signage and organisation for meeting points could be a little messy.

Otherwise we cannot fault the team. The ship felt well run, the suite experience was comfortable, and we had a great time. A restful, well-paced cruise we’d happily do again.

Loved this ship. It is beautiful. Very clean everywhere. We stayed in a suite and were treated like royalty. The butler and our room steward were the best we have encountered! We hardly left the ship. We normally sail with Celebrity and must say after reading some of the reviews we were a bit concerned, but needn't have been as this was one of our favourite ships. We ate in the Club Restaurant for suite guests and it was outstanding and staff were amazing. So can't speak for main dining room. We did eat in the buffet a few times and that was very good. You can even get burgers/hotdogs fries till 4am. Very handy if you have a late night. Went to the spa a few times and enjoyed the facilities and treatments. We enjoy the casino, and the host Ricardo and staff looked after us very well. Keep up the good work Costa Deliziosa... Thankyou for everything, we will be back.

The embarkation was orderly and fast. The lines were short and the staff was adequate. The room was available after boarding the ship.

The shopping area was small and had a limited supply of goods.

The casino was small with an abundance of lots. A few black jack tables and no dice.

The meals served in the dining room were fair.

The Internet connection was good.

The cabin size was adequate.

The cabin steward was outstanding. He kept the room clean and stocked with beverages.

The seas were calm during the voyage.

Disembarking was fast and the luggage was found in the correct location..

The ports visited were clean. Going a shore was easy and orderly.

I had to visit the medical center a couple of times. The medical center is well staffed with physicians and support staff. The medical center has its own laboratory. After my second visit in Croatia. The physician decided to send me to a hospital for further treatment.. I was taken by ambulance to an urgent care center. I was seen by a gastroenterologist who evaluated me. He gave me a couple prescriptions and cleared me to return to the ship.

I was a Costa employee (cocktail waitress) 25 years ago. I came back as a passenger only because I remebered the best service and entertainment quality from that time. With a huge regret I must say there is nothing left from old Costa. But it was the food quality that devastated me completely. You might think, that because in Italy even a sandwich bought at the train station tastes real good, so the food onboard would be at least of this quality. But I haven't eaten such badly prepared dishes for decades, and I remember the passenger food quality and variety as the perfect one back then, like lobsters, etc., also vide variety in buffets, restaurants with white tablecloth, all that from the times of my working days. Now, I believe it is probably no better from the crew food, with a seriously limited choice. But not just food. I think the quality of everything decrerased significantly. The enterteinment onboard has no special features, only the same overtired dancers and singers, night after night. Just 30 minutes of the show. Me, cruising for many times with different companies, I have seen the worse entertiment just once, in the cruiseship known from its absolute lowest prices. I understand this is the matter of adjusting to new realities of cruising, but such a fall.... And I am so dissapointed. Yet, not everything was just so bad. There were things even Costa couldn't spoil, like the sunsets on the sea, nice drinks (I guess they could have spoiled them, too, but they didn't), beautiful places we visited, and - I must admit - clean and decent cabins.

After travelling on other cruises I guess we had much higher expectations. We felt like cattle at all times, waiting in line and being rushed through everywhere, food subpar causing digestion problems, they try to extract money from you at every turn, being charged extra for every single thing. Some staff were nice, others just rude. Entertainment in the theatre which I usually love was laughable compared to other cruises. I walked out of most of the shows and then just stopped going. I should have researched better and read reviews before booking. I went for dates and itinerary rather than cruise line thinking it would be the same as other cruises. Now I know. If you are looking for super budget then I guess this would be for you. I guess I am at an age where I expect more. It’s kind of put me off cruises when previously I loved them.
