We joined MSC Armonia this Sunday 11/10/26 from Venice. We are 6 couples cruising.
Since we joined this old ship we have had issues with the blocked toilets, dirty smells from the toilets and very little verity of food ,staff not trained properly, customer service not listening to our complaints, they are passing the blame on to other departments on the ship.
Entertainment very poor.
Lots of people got colds and flu.
This has turned out to be horrible experience on a MSC ship.
The MSC management team need to know that customers deserve better.
People go on holidays to enjoy their time away from daily routine and work but they don’t want to spend time and money where their holiday is ruined by MSC because their ship is faulty, old ship, lack of customer care and support by the staff.
I will not go on holiday with MSC as they know that the problem exists -weekly and they are doing nothing about it.
Pleasantly surprised

Perhaps our expectations were low, we came back from an Azamara cruise just a few weeks ago. We were delighted with the Armonia, our cabin was a delight. Roomy, plenty of wardrobe space, coffee machine.
The shows were great but very short-35mins but that suited us ok. Food was average, not hot enough, service was good and they were happy to redo. Bar service was slow at busy times, the coffee bar too.
I don't think it was made clear enough when aboard as to what extras we were entitled to for our cabin grade(Aurora) e.g. The maitre'd at the permitted dining room, said she would only give us the same table if we came at 7pm every night. This meant we had no time for a pre dinner drink & hardly used our Premier Drinks Package. Enjoyed the privilege deck 15 but never found the spa extras! On reflection the comfort of the cabin made our holiday.
Nice Cruise! Not perfect but met our expectations

Our first cruise with MSC, it was a pleasant surprise given so many dubious reviews from people who seemed to have issues.
Our suite had a large bathroom with full size tub, walk-in closet, and big balcony. King size bed was comfortable. Never felt cramped or crowded like other cruise cabins we have had.
Ship was a bit smaller / older but nice to have things close at hand, not having to walk too far to get to anything on board.
Dining room food and service was good, not totally awesome, but acceptable for sure. Fancy items like lobster tails are extra.
WiFi program was a bit sketchy and complicated to figure out. Buffet was just ok, but you don't have to go there if you don't want to. Biggest concern is (early) mornings were noisy, making difficult to sleep past 7am due to maintenance, doors slamming shut, loud chatter in the hallways, dragging deck loungers overhead etc.
Quite decent value for money overall. Staff were nice, especially if you acknowledge them as people and smile, things go well. Mostly enjoyed the entertainment program(s), generally something for everyone.
