Msc not great and nickel and dime you

Service was subpar, major language barrier, and they didn't really want to do anything extra for you. They nickel dime with a big bill at the end of the cruise not dirty but not as clean as it could be. Andnothing to do on the ship and the food was very subpar and same every single day. I will never do another m. S. C cruise again, if I had the room, I would say more. I'm going back to princess cruise lines, more money, but worth it, it's exceptional cruise line with exquisite customer service and very good food with different options, and no big gratuity bill at the end and so much to do on the ship period. The msc island ocean cay Is a joke? Half of his man made, who goes to the bahamas wanting to go on. A man made beach? The off sure excursions were gooodr got to see the mayan ruins and a cool town called Costa Maya in Mexico.

My husband and I sailed for the 2nd time on the msc seashore, this time we brought our daughter and son inlaw for there 1st time. This time wasn't as good for us for my brand new luggage got cracked by the wheel. Paid around 129.00 and all they gave us was 80.00. Our sit down dinners were mainly pasta every night , I won a gift certificate from effys and the assistant manager showed us some rings that were more his style not mine and sort of pressuring me by saying if I get this sale I will be able to go to another ship and get the manager job. We left cause it was our dinner reservation time. Went back the next day and the manager saw us and walked out the other door. I saw a raffle on the counter and he came in and very rudely he grabbed everything and said that's been done. When I said I wanted to spend my 250.00 he said I don't have anything for that, we left with that attitude and I gave it to someone on the ship. We did have a nice wine making excursion. Loved the top deck at night watching the big screen while in the pool. Bar tender Ryan Dejesus by guest services was the best and his coworkers. Maria who helps Diamond International get sales & hand out savings, be cautious in cozumel DI for they serve you liquior and from there you'll kind of figure it out. On a good note dancing with the officers and getting pictures with them and the captain and the cruise director. Will sale again and try a different ship next time.

After a less than enjoyable Mediterranean cruise on MSC, we stayed away. We then heard some positive comments about their sailings from America so we tried them again. We shouldn't have. While the ship itself was beautiful and well maintained, we weren't impressed with the food or the level of service. In fact, we had an unfortunate experience shortly after embarking involving our WIFI package. We sought assistance because we had difficulty setting it up on my wife's phone. We were told that I had inadvertently purchased two 2-device packages instead of one and if we paired our phones with my plan, we'd get a refund on the other. After being repeatedly promised the refund was coming for nearly a week, we learned that we had been given bad info and too bad if we had wasted a lot of time. My wife doesn't drink so I buy my wine Ala carte. My first tiny glass of wine was $16.50. I then bought a bottle for $43.00 so I managed to get a bit more value for my money. Oh yeah, the elevators on board are irritating, slow and grossly inefficient. Even when it's not that busy, a 2 minute wait or longer was not unusual. The only real positive of the cruise was that they did offer open pickleball play every morning even if they had only one court that was partially obstructed. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers. Overall, we were not impressed and will not sail on MSC in the future.
