Mont-Saint-Michel is a World Heritage site located in Normandy, France, renowned for its magical appearance as an island that seems to float on the sea depending on the tides. Founded as an abbey in the 8th century, it later developed into a fortified medieval town. The abbey towering at the top of the island is a stunning example of Gothic architecture and has long attracted visitors from around the world as a symbol of history and faith. At low tide, a sandy causeway appears that can be crossed on foot, while at high tide the island is surrounded by the sea—an awe-inspiring natural spectacle. On the island, you can enjoy cobblestone paths, charming cafés, and local specialties such as fluffy omelets and cider. The breathtaking scenery, which changes dramatically between day and night, is also a favorite spot for photography. It is truly one of Europe’s most iconic destinations—“a place to visit at least once in a lifetime.”

The distance from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Southampton Port takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by car. You will meet with Japanese-speaking staff and travel safely to the port; on the return trip, staff will accompany you back to the airport. On the outbound journey, a visit to the SeaCity Museum (Titanic exhibition) is scheduled before boarding the cruise.
Shore Excursion 1: Zeebrugge Tour
Bruges, known as the “Venice of the North,” is one of Belgium’s premier tourist destinations, featuring beautiful canals and well-preserved medieval streets. Highlights include panoramic views from the city’s symbol, the Belfry bell tower, the Church of Our Lady housing a Michelangelo sculpture, and the Chocolate Museum filled with sweet aromas. Strolling along cobblestone paths reveals storybook-like scenery steeped in history. Enjoy a romantic moment unique to Bruges as you admire charming houses reflected on the water during a canal cruise.
Shore Excursion 2: Rotterdam Tour
Enjoy a relaxed two-hour art appreciation at the renowned Mauritshuis Museum in The Hague, Netherlands.
